Description: This volume is a collection of the correspondence between Dorothy Osborne and Sir William Temple. It is a rare edition in the original publisher's binding with yapp edges. Edited by Edward Abbott Parry. it was originally published in 1888, this is the third printing of this volume from 1903. The book is illustrated with frontispiece and two further plates. It is a lovely volume in good vintage condition. The titles are in gilt to the spine with gilt embossing to front board, and top edge in gilt. Externally it shows signs of wear as would be expected with a book of this age with the boards lightly marked. There is a small tear to the top of the spine (approximately 2cm long). There is an inscription 'Josephine M Dickinson' on the inside. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean. Very Good. Postage quoted is to mainland UK. Overseas shipping is via GSP only.
