Description: This is a 3 volume hardcover set of The Lord of the Rings trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkien. It's the second edition, published by Houghton Mifflin. I'm not sure of the publication date but the "Notes on the Text" in Fellowship are copyright 1987 so I assume it's somewhere around then. All 3 books are in excellent condition with few flaws. The Two Towers dust jacket has a small tear on the left side of the front (see pic). There are a few small creases on the dust jackets, around the top corners.
