Description: I grade my records conservatively using proper lighting & avoid using a mask of the common vague language so that you know exactly what you are considering to purchase. My priority as a seller is to eliminate disappointment when the item arrives. I am also a buyer so I understand! HAPPY JACK/whiskey manDecca 33114 picture sleeve VG has light wear & an area of discoloration from a price sticker, no seam splits or pen marks. Vinyl NM no scuffs or scratches at all, label has a small BB hole which was applied & a common practice once a record went into the discount section in the 1960s. This will be shipped with the 45 outside the picture sleeve in a generic sleeve, and both placed in a plastic protectorto prevent damage/seam splits & in a record mailer with cardboard. Covers: M = Sealed, has no bashed corners or creasesNM = Most cases still in shrink wrap, or just has no wear & looks asif you just bought it from the storeVG++ = Has only the beginning signs of wear, still looks brand newVG+ = Has a small amount of wear, spines a little creasedfrom use (gate folds) may have a small pen mark (i.e. someone's name)VG = Has noticeable wear, may allow for a pen mark & small seam split or twoG = Record can still be housed in the cover, may have seam splits or small amounts of tape on the spines, or just simply have a lot of ring wear Vinyl: M= Sealed, or stone perfect showing no signs of handling or play or spindle marks on the labels, noscuffs or marks whatsoever. Rarely use this grade. NM= May have signs of play but not much, no scratches& may have a light scuff & still looks like you just boughtthe record from the store & has a few blemishes. VG++ = Very close to NM but a couple light imperfectionsVG+ = Record has signs of handling & play but very welltaken care of, common LP's are still acceptable in this shape, has no deep scratches or surface noise, may allow for a couple of small lightareas of paper scratches on each side but no deep scratches.VG = Record has a minimum of light scratches from being removed fromthe inner sleeve repeatedly, but still has gloss & soundsgreat, may have light surface noise between the tracks or quiet passages. G = Record is scratched on both sides but playable. Surface noisecan be heard more profoundly but without skips, more desirable records can beaccepted in this shape but otherwise should be donated to the local thrift store. Anything less than G I don't sell.
