The members were Felix Cavalier (Vo, Kb), Eddie Brigati (Vo), Gene Cornish (Gt), and Dino Danelli (Ds). "Good Lovin'" (1966/3/12 #1), which reached number one in the US in 1966, is a cover of The Olympics' 1965 hit. Since forming in New York in 1964, the band has honed their speedy performance skills as a club band, and you can enjoy their varied repertoire to the fullest, making this an album that is rough around the edges but full of youthful energy and power. In addition to their debut single "I AIN'T GONNA EAT OUT MY HEART ANYMORE" (1965/12/25 #52) released in 1965, the album includes their favorite numbers such as Larry Williams' cover of the Beatles' "SLOW DOWN" and Wilson Pickett's number, as well as their first original song "DO YOU FEEL IT," which already hinted at their future success.
