Description: This auction is for ONE TIE ROD ADAPTER necessary in order to install Ford Granada, Mercury Monarch, or Lincoln Versailles (1975-1980 model year) front disc brakes on 1967-1969 vintage Ford Mustang,Cougar and other similar cars' existing tie rods ends. PLEASE SPECIFY YEAR OF CAR AND ENGINE SIZE (If you need both sides you can specify a quantity of (2) during checkout.) When installing the Granada disc brakes on a classic Mustang, Comet, Falcon, Ranchero, or other similar Ford Product, there is a mismatch between the smaller tie rods of the car and the larger holes in the Granada spindles. These adapter bushings will allow you to install the Granada spindles on yor classic 67-69 car WITHOUT HAVING TO CHANGE YOUR TIE ROD ENDS! Fits I-6 or V8 Mustangs and Cougars 1967-1969. Adapts 75-80 Granada & Monarch or 77-80 Versailles spindles to existing tie rods. Simply insert these in the spindles with red Loctite on the OD of the bushing. That way, the adapters become a permanent part of the spindle, and when you need new tie rods at some future date, all you have to do is find a pair of 67-69 MUSTANG tie rods to fit it. You won't have to remember why there are different sized tie rods, or a future owner won't accuse you of adding the dreaded PREVIOUS OWNER SYNDROME. Mustang tie rods will undoubtedly be easier to come by as time goes on vs. obtaining Granada tie rods. (How many of you have actually SEEN a Granada on the road in the last few years?)
