Description: This is a very cool Mid Century glass piece in a cornucopia shape made by Tiffin in the late 1950s-1960s during their Modern years. The color was called Twilight and it is a glass that changes color depending on the light. This type of glass is known as neodymium or dichroic (aka Alexandrite). It is a beautiful lavender purple color in incandescent or in sunlight, but under fluorescent light it turns an ice blue color (see photo 2). So unique. Nice large scale and standing up on 2 whimsical free-form legs. It is about 13 3/4” long and about 6” high with a mouth opening of 5”. Great condition. No chips or cracks. A beauty for any decor. Add shells, glass stones, or flowers for an unusual sleek centerpiece. *Flat rate shipping fee listed is for continental US only and does not apply to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or international.
