Description: Vintage TIKI TI Wooden Cocktail Menu Replica Here's the simple story. For a LONG time, I've been wanting one of these historic 1960s Tiki Ti wood menus to add to my home tiki lounge (also here in Los Feliz not far from Tiki Ti). Sadly, I've never seen real examples or replicas come up for sale anywhere. Not sure if more of the real ones exist somewhere, but there are 3 of these relics still screwed to the wall in this historic tiki bar on Sunset Blvd. SO... finally, I decided to make one myself. I ended up making a couple, and that was all I planned to make. But since I sold the other one here on eBay nearly 2 months ago, I've gotten a bunch of questions if I'd make more. Okay, I just did. Not sure if I will do it again or not. Depends on future demand. They are handmade, and take some time to create. This is almost the same size as the actual menu (just about an inch smaller). Also, as you can see in the photo of the real one, most of the drink prices were covered up with white-out years ago. I certainly didn't want to replicate the white-out, and was going to try to restore the pricing, but couldn't find any record of what the actual prices were when this menu was made and used. Since I didn't want to fake that, I decided to just remove the pricing all together. I also chose to both keep the overall vintage vibe of the real menus, but the ones at Tiki Ti are slightly battered at this point, so I cleaned my versions up a little.
