Description: This is a vintage porcelain Triumph Limoges Imperial Victorian 6.5” plate set in a wrought aluminum outer frame by Farberware. Limoges ceramic porcelain and Farberware aluminum are combined expertly to create the stunning platter which is in total 11.75 inches in diameter. The aluminum portion has large flowers (perhaps morning glories?) in textured relief and the edges are upturned and scalloped. The porcelain portion has a vibrantly colored flower & fruit theme in the center, and ample 22K white gold detailing around the perimeter. This would be a lovely choice to use for something special like serving small cakes or cookies at a tea party or at a special breakfast alongside the coffee server. When not in use, it will show beautifully on display.
