THIS HARD COVER BOOK IS 75 YEARS OLD & IN VERY GOOD CONDITION BUT DOES HAVE FLAWS, see below. This book has over 20 illustrations; examples are in photos 3, 5 & & 7 & all closed pages edges have a green color as in photo 11. Photo 8 has lists of other Whitman publications for young readers showing in 1954 this title was 1/5 Trixie Belden themed books. Marks: No name, tape. or writing on pages or covers; front cover page does have 1.00 in pencil at top edge. Tears: None Corners: Page are square. Cover are square with color loss to 3/4 tips. Binding: Tight spine covering is very good save color loss on back spine edge & bottom front spine edge & to spine edge corners. Covers: Both are nearly like new do to the cellophane like covering which has peels & lifts at spine edges; also, both inside covers have paper cover separation the full length at binding & you can see the mesh binding used to help hold the book together; again, the binding is secure.
