Tsuruoka Mado [Tatsumura Art Textiles] Morita Kimio Weaving Debukusha and Kobuku

Description: >> --> >> --> Description >> --> ■Immediate purchase is welcome. ■Anonymous delivery, free shipping. I inherited it from my mother, who loved antiques and pottery and was also a practitioner of the tea ceremony. Tsuruoka Mado is one of the famous textiles, and is said to have been used as a sacred treasure at Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine in Kamakura. It is recognized as the oldest famous textile of Mado, excluding Taishi Mado. It is a striped fabric woven with warp threads dyed in brown, white, navy blue, etc., with a crimson red as the main color. It has a unique texture with unevenness on the surface of the fabric and diamond stripes that stand out beautifully with the weft threads. Since I live in a place that has a connection to me, I thought about keeping it, but I feel it would be a waste to have it in my possession, so I would like to pass it on to someone who will appreciate its value. [size] Dashifukusa: Length 28cm, width 27cm Kobukusa: Length 15cm, width 15.3cm [situation] My mother had kept it carefully stored in a chest of drawers in the Japanese-style room, but she had kept it so safe that she had forgotten about it. It appears to have been stored unused, but the outer box shows signs of aging.
