Description: Thank you for looking at our auction. YOU ARE BIDDING ON OR PURCHASING: (1) UHER 4000 Report-L tape recorder. Comes with leather case. Case is torn and apart. See photos. Recorder seems to be in good condition. No major issues. All the knobs, switches, etc. work as they should. The wiring looks great inside the machine. The battery department needs a little tlc. Metal connectors are corroded a bit and they need to be sanded for better connection. They are not rusted or corroded through though. A few years back I purchased a huge collection of TV, radio and electronic equipment that came from a local college and had no problems at all with the operating of such equipment. But to be on the safe side I will be auctioning this item "as is" for parts only. If you bid on more than one auction or purchase more than one item from my store do not pay until I can send you a revised invoice to save you on postage.
