Description: The Order of the Iron Cross of the Army of the Ukrainian National Republic was first awarded in 1920. It was awarded to participants of the First Winter Campaign 1919-1920. The original ribbon was 30mm. The ribbon was officially reissued in a width of 35mm. The ribbon you are purchasing is 35mm. I am using a excellent reference book, "Ukrainian Military Awards" by Jaroslaw Semotiuk for identification of Ukrainian medal ribbon as well as other reference sources. The ribbon was made by Spink and son, London, England more than 30 year ago. It is new old stock. The ribbon is quite scarce and not often found on the collector market.
