Unusual, German Recknagel, antique bisque 1914 GOOGLY doll molded blue ribbon

Description: Adorable, 7 1/2" tall, antique bisque sockethead, Googly doll with intaglio (incised), side-glancing GOOGLY 👀 eyes, pretty molded, bobbed hair (light brown) with molded-in and painted blue hair ribbon. sweet smiling, closed mouth, excellent coloring, incised: R 46 A 12/0 (only). She has her rare original five-piece papiermache, chubby toddler body with painted socks and single-strap shoes in excellent condition and wears her original, adorable, antique outfit (dress with red sash and neck ribbon over petticoat). Charming, cabinet-size little miss by Recknagel of Alexandrinenthal, Germany, c.1911-1914. (#3127a) This rare model is shown and described on pages 98-99, "The History & Art of Googlies"-Ladensack, and is in excellent condition with no damages or repairs, no scuffs or stains and no odors as she is from a smoke free home.
