Description: This bayonet is 16.25" long overall with an 11.75" blade down to the ricasso. It is marked "US" on one side and "1902" on the other side. The original scabbard is 18" long including the swivel. The sheath part is 12.75". The swivel hanger is the second variant with a stop that limits the rotation to less than 360 degrees. The blade looks pretty good as shown. The scabbard shows some rust and a couple small dents. I have made no attempt to improve this item and leave any efforts at restoration to the new owner.
