Newsagent marks These issues ALL have newsagent marks. Around 50% of issues have newsagent marks. In the UK, comics and newsapers were reserved (or reserved and delivered) by local newsagent shops and the newsagents wrote the customers names are sometimes the addresses on the covers. There were often delivered by paper boys and girls. Writing was either in pen or pencil, and occationaly markers or felt tip pens.
