Description: Acquired from an estate sale close to home. Seller at the estate indicated that the previous owner was well traveled and collected several art pieces along the way. This is one of them... She is guessing that this carving dates back to the 17th to 18th century. Hopefully the photos shown here will provide some type of time reference. With regards to condition, there are missing wood pieces on the hands, arms, face, and other areas. Some surface cracks as well due to age.
