Description: I inherited a group of very old 78RPM records. I've been learning about the different companies and record labels of these records and it's all so fascinating. What a great piece of history these old recordings are. What I've learned: Victor Records, started using labels that just said "Victor" on them for a while. They used a different design for the labels they called "Bat Wings". When they first used them they still had the price of what each one cost written on the left hand side of the label. They dropped the price off in 1919. This one still has the price of 75 cents on it's label. This record was released in 1916. The Vacant Chair and I Cannot Sing the Old Songs by McKee Trio, #18230, Released 1916. This record is the "Bat Wing" label design. This record* is in good condition** for it's year, with minor scratching seen. Side A has a crinkle in the label area and has a "smudge" about 1.5" long. Side B just has scratches. No nics, chips or breaks were noticed. *Records have not been tested**I'm not an authority on grading records.
