Description: This is a beautifully detailed antique Victorian mourning locket done in ornate Etruscan Revival style. It features one seed pearl and black enamel tracing on the front. On the back, a compartment lifts up to hold a lock of hair of the deceased. The locket measures 1 1/4 inches high by 1 inch wide by 1/2 inch thick. The decorative bale is 1/2 inch and the gold filled fancy chain is 18 inches. For the age, the condition is excellent.
