Description: Up for sale is this very cool private purchase Tanker jacket! These were popular among tankers during the 50s, 60s, and 70s as there was no official army issue tanker jacket again until the 80s/90s. Various different clothing companies offered these for sale during the Cold War and many photos show different variations of these jackets. It’s marked size LARGE with no major issues apart from some undone threading in the lining and the shoulder pocket as well as some moth holes in the wool cuffs. An epaulet button has fallen off but is still included. Shows no heavy wear on the shell! It’s made of some nice water repellent nylon with a presumably poly filling lining. Has one main zipper and a shoulder pocket with zipper. Both zippers work fine with no issues.
