Description: Up for sale is this great antique framed print from around the turn of the last century. (I found elsewhere that the image is copyrighted1908 by August Hutaf.) It depicts a "little Elk" in a diaper, wearing "his first pin" — a clever play on words! Not sure what he is holding in his hand, it looks for all the world like a water balloon??? The child looks mischievous, he is winking and pointing to the mysterious object in his other hand; the cuckoo clock on the wall is about to struck 11:00. I'm guessing these items may all have meaning to Elks Lodge members, but I am at a complete loss! This piece is in great condition, considering its age. The frame is solid oak and has an applied Elk's head in the upper left corner, this has lost a few small pieces over the years but is still very nice. The print is rather primitive but in good shape, with no moisture damage. Measures 11-1/4" wide by 13-3/8" overall, the image measures 8" by 10". Please examine the photos carefully, and feel free to write if you have questions. Buyer pays actual shipping costs.
