Description: Vintage photo of Triple Crown winner and Hall of Famer War Admiral with jockey Charles Kurtsinger in the winner's circle after the 1937 Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs. This photo measures about 7"x9" and is mounted on a thick piece of wood or some type of plastic. Since it is glued to the mounting, there's no way to view the back for any stamps or writing but this definitely appears to be from the 1937 era. The photo has some damage with a tear on the left and right borders, and this has some waviness to it, probably from the glue holding it to the board. This has a number 8 in the top right corner and what appears to be some tape on the back, so this was possibly in some kind of museum or display about War Admiral.
