Description: Vintage 1940s Rayon Crepe Evening Gown Long Maxi Dress Beaded Size M/L Dubarry. This authentic 1940s era gown has a working original left side zipper and belt. On the neckline, in a pointed pattern, there is sheer netting with grey and black beadwork. Pleats adorn the waistline, giving it that "old Hollywood" looks. Some of the beads are missing and there are a few tears in the netting. There are also some holes and tears in the skirt; most are about 12" up from the hem except for one, that is 1/4" wide in the back that falls 14" below the waistline. If you wanted to hem the dress, the rest would no longer exist. At the shoulders, there is very minimal lightening and a few pinholes. This is a great 40s gown for a costume or for photoshoot purposes. This is shown a size 4/6 mannequin, so it can be belted to fit smaller. Please refer to measurements.
