Description: 1950's Black Acetate and Rose Red Satin Strapless Gown. XS Boned Bodice. Bust 34" Waist 27" Hips 50" plus. Top of Bodice to Waist 10 1/2" Waist to Hem 35 1/2" Hem is 280" around. 13" metal zipper under the left arm opens completely. Hook and Eye at the top. The only real downside is that the acetate bodice is made of a single layer of fabric and the seams have pulled at the fabric, particularly at the site of the boning. I have mended these areas with black iron-on tape. See Photos #10 for the outside view of the mended back of the bodice, and #11 for what it looks like inside. There is also a 5" and 1" mended tear at the hem of the dress front. See Photo #12. There are no stains on the gown, and the seams are all intact. The gown is in very good, wearable condition. It has been washed in Woolite for Dark Fabrics, left to drip dry, and ironed. Packaged to Mail it weighs 2 lbs in a 20x15x4 envelope.
