Description: 1956 University of Tennessee/Ole Miss Program Signed 10x Majors, Cafego, & More. An absolute ONE OF A KIND! Signatures: Johnny “Drum” Majors (Rare signing of name). HOF player. Coach. Innovator. National Championship winner as a coach at Pitt. George Cafego, Asst. Coach (Hall of Fame, Gen. Neyland tailback, and first round NFL draft pick) Capt. John Gordy (Gordy had a long career with the Detroit Lions and went on to star in the movie adaptation of George Plimpton’s Paper Lion alongside Alan Alda and others. Gordy was also the author’s inspiration for the book Mad Ducks and Bears). Bobby Sandlin was the pick of the NFLs Baltimore Colts in 1958. Hilrey Carr a fullback from Livingston and UT Letterman. Carl Hannah wide receiver. Bo Shafer tackle and local humanitarian. Tommy Bronson a fullback whose name adorns the Bronson-Johnson locker room at Tennessee. Kyle “Buddy” Cruze the first Tennessee wide receiver to earn All American honors. Pivotal to winning an SEC championship. John Bailey, assistant coach. This program has been in the same family since 1956. Father was 9 years old. You’ll never find another one out there. I’m putting a price on it here, but I will entertain reasonable offers. This program is signed in pencil by players and coaches. It has been well preserved and presents well, but keep in mind it is 66 years old now, corners are good, no major flaws. Color Centerfold of starting lineup is a nice Coca Cola and LM cigarette ad, but is detached. I’ll be happy to answer any questions. Thanks for looking and GO VOLS!
