Only authorized cars were permitted to show this plate which were owned by licensed driving instructors or driving school cars. This plate was never used on private cars. This plate has a black Hebrew letter "ל" (similar to the "L" letter used in U.K. for "Learner") on a blue and white background. It has a bracket on the back side that was used to attach the plate next to the car's license plate. It has a folding hinge so if not in use, the driving instructor can fold it. It the 1990's these plates were changed into magnetic stickers or roof signs like taxis. Made from hard plastic. Size: 9¾ inches (24.8 cm) X 9¾ inches (24.8 cm) Condition: good the cosmetic condition is good and will only need some cleaning. I did not attempt to clean it since I have no idea how to do it properly. This will make a fine addition to any car license plate collection.
