Vintage 40’s 50’s Gabardine Insulated Jacket Southwestern Woven M/L Car Coat

Description: Gabardine Insulated Jacket/Coat Era: 40/50’s - Serval Zipper - Navy Blue Gabardine - Pink/Blue/Teal/Black Woven Accent Panel - Insulated/Quilted Padding Size: M/L - 22” pit to pit (tapers down) - 28” top to bottom Condition: this jacket is in preowned vintage condition with some signs of age and wear. The gabardine is lightly worn and has turned slightly purple in various spots. This is most noticeable along the tops of the sleeves, running along the back, and where the zipper has sat against the flap covering it. There are also some small pin sized worn spots near where the panel starts at the top. There is a slightly bigger hole on the very bottom front edge and another worn spot a little above it. The material where the zipper starts is also fraying on one side. The cuffs have a couple small worn holes where the material creases and the right cuff has a faint discolored spot. One of the pocket linings also has a hole in it and there are some visible threads at the left shoulder (not sure if original or reinforced at some point). The inside lining has some distressing around where it meets the collar and some discoloring near the bottom. The collar also has some threads where it appears a tag may have been sewed at one point. The quilting looks in good shape but the insulation inside has gotten a bit lumpy with time. Otherwise it appears free of any other damage or defects.
