Description: SOUTHERN CLAY MFG CO. pavers were made in Robbins, Tenn factory beginning in 1902. This Southern Clay brick was removed from one of the historic streets in Miami, St. Augustine or Jacksonville Florida where they were commonly installed during the1920's. In the late 1920's, macadam paved roads became popular, and also the Florida building boom ended resulting in the factory closing in 1937. The paver has some chips that can be seen in the pictures. It is 9-1/4" long by 4" wide and 3" high and weights over 9 pounds. Please view all the pictures for more details on its condition.
