Vintage Aurora 88 Black Celluloid Fine Fountain Pen with Gold TrimItalian Made, The pen is in good to very good cosmetic condition, The cap's pocket clip is slightly sprung as shown in the images along with have some visible marks and scratches present, The nib has been sonically cleaned at the base the numbers "585" are clearly engraved, The piston works as it should with the pen drawing up ink and expelling it as it should, The pen writes with an extra fine/fine nib, It measures 138mm capped, 149mm posted, width (at the base of the cap) is 12mm and it weighs 23 grams, The serial No. on the reverse of the nib reads "450578." 2. Vintage Aurora 88 Black Celluloid Fountain Pen (NOT WORKING)Italian Made, The pen is in very good cosmetic condition, The cap's pocket clip is ever so slightly spring as shown in the images and has some minor dents but no visible marks or scratches, The nib has been sonically cleaned at the base the words "Aurora 585 0/00" are clearly engraved, I have tested the piston and simply does not work so this will need some attention prior to use, Dip testing the nib it writes with a medium line, It measures 136mm capped, 147mm posted, width (at the base of the cap) is 12mm and it weighs 21 grams, The serial No. on the reverse of the nib reads "1559189." There are NO cases with these pens.
