Description: This vintage Edwardian purse is a beautiful addition to anyone's collection. The tooled leather creates an intricate fleur de lis pattern with a braided edge detailing. The body of the purse measures about 8” long down the middle and is about 6” across. It has a Fleur de Lis front raised design & metal frame. Good working clasp. You turn the small piece and it unlocks purse and you push round metal piece to open. The sides fan out and are good and the edge braiding is intact, but beginning to fray just a bit. Inside it has a brown suede like lining, and a slip pocket on each side. The leather is beautiful and could be carried immediately after purchasing. Issues: The strap is beginning to fray & a few green (rust?) spots on the metal. It is vintage and being sold as is - please view all the photos. Note: We are finally clearing out boxes from our parents’ home. They were collectors of a bit of everything, so check back often for more listings & feel free to email with questions.
