Description: This Yupik basket was hand made by Leta Shale and purchased on a trip to Alaska in l972. The basket was sold by Quinanlt Arts & Crafts. It measures approximately 5-1/2 inches high by 5-1/2 and tapers at the bottom to 3-14 inches at the base. The basket was always kept in a glass display case and is in very good condition to excellent condition. The basket features two dark colored whales and two smaller red designs.
