Description: Wonderfully Hand Carved & Chiseled, 2 1/2" Wide Scoop Picture Frame, pierced and decorated with floral designs, on the Closed corners (finished to look seamless), measuring 23 X 28 3/4, exact - no allowance. Created in the mid 20th C., this all wood frame has delicate, hand chiseled work throughout the scoop. The frame is deeply antiqued and shows signs of minor wear, but age appropriate and character enhancing!There is some cracking in the corners but no loss of decoration. Inside opening measures 23 X 28 3/4, exact, with no allowance (see images). Outside measure of the frame is 27 X 33 and is in Good to Very Good Vintage condition. Moulding width measures 2 1/2".
