This is all a part of Ida Outhwaite’s beautiful imagination. Ida Rentoul Outhwaite, an Australian, also went by Ida Sherbourne Rentoul and Ida Sherbourne Outhwaite, (9 June 1888 – 25 June 1960). She has an outstanding reputation as one of the top illustrators of children's books. Her work mostly depicts magical creatures, such as elves, fairies and goblins. She is cherished to this day in her native Australia and around the world. The postcard is part of the Enchanted Forest franchise, and is an original printed lithograph basically, from the Inter-War Outhwaite era (1918-1939). The postcard is in Very Good condition. It has been well-preserved. The card has a few minor corner bumps. It is unposted.
