As Knoll say: "Innovative, comfortable and strikingly handsome, Harry Bertoia's side chair's delicate filigree appearance bellies its strength and durability". As Bertoia said: "If you look at these chairs, they are mainly made of air, like sculpture. Space passes right through them." Brilliant. Welded steel with rods of chrome polish paint. In good vintage condition - bought from the original owner. There have ben some proffessional very small weld repairs to the brackets but these are under the seat pads and cannot be seen in situ.
