Vintage Ideal Crissy? Doll with Growing Red Hair 1968 18"

Description: estate sale item Dolls are not my specialty So please ask if you have any questions ??? and take a close look at the photos I post mostly vintage dolls when they come into my store This one was a bit dirty so I cleaned it up a bit Some more cleaning may be necessary .....Overall though, the doll is in pretty good condition taking into consideration the age I do see the number 1968 . I would assume that is the year it was produced but I do not know when this was purchased ON the back are the following inscribed numbers numbers GH-17-H129 but it's a bit hard to make out Hair is probably a bit tangled and will definitely need some straightening There is a dial in the back of the doll that will pull the hair "in " about 6 inches after you pull it out to its full length ( that is as far as you can pull the hair back in the head as far as I can determine ... NOTE :To pull; the hair out you have to pull the hair it out manually ,,You may have to pull the dial out and turn the dial to get her hair back in ,,,,,In order to pull her hair to full length you would need to pull on the hair as I said manually ! When pulled out manually to full length the hair is about 11 to 11 1/2 inches long Im not sure this is the way it is meant to work but this is the way this vintage doll works as far as I can see so It may need some tweaking or reconditoning I'm farily sure the dial in the back is meant to pull the hair out and in but again you can" pull the hair in about six inches" but again to "pull it out to full length" you have to pull the hair manually with your hand and you may need to hold the hair to contain it when pulling it in Eyes look jet black to me but could be very very dark brown ,,,Eyes open and close with no problem Head arms and legs move and will stay in place Eyelashes look in pretty good condition Hands and feet are intact Head moves Arms and legs and head move and stay in place Note AGAIN : In order to pull the hair back in you may have to pull the dial out a bit and then turn the dial ,, Doll is sold "as is " as a vintage doll and I assume it may require some more cleaning and TLC But if you don't want the doll you will have to send it back at your cost ,,I cannot take all the risk Please do not leave negative feedback for this very vintage item ..
