Description: Vintage Jaru California Pottery Gold Chalkware Owls 5” and 3.5” 1970’s Set of Jaru California Pottery owls. They are in excellent condition. The small owl is approximately 5 inches long and 3.5 inches tall. The large owl is approximately 5 inches long and 5 inches tall. These are in very good condition, Free of chips. Minor scratches. Larger owl measures 5" high and smaller owl measures about 3 1/2". These are very heavy, solid chalkware pieces. These pieces are made of heavy plaster ware with antiqued gold finish. The gold finish evokes the glamour of Hollywood Regency style. The design and expression of the figurines fit with the 70's "mod" theme. Felt is applied to bottom of figurines to protect surfaces. A vintage large gold gilded plaster (distinctively red paint by Jaru) barn owls by Jaru Art Products of California, c 1970’s.
