Description: **Vintage MCM SET OF 4 DINETTE CUSTOM CHAIRS DATED SEPT 1963 SUNFLOWER GREEN Vintage set of 4 Dinette Kitchen Chairs--custom vinyl upholstered, stamped Sept 17, 1963. A beautiful set of distinctive MCM dining chairs--upholstery is in excellent condition, with no tears or cracks. Floral green & yellow (sunflower? daffodil?) embossed design.Applied brass details on chair backs add additional period luxury styling. Steel-framed Mid-Century Modern chairs with a high-quality custom upholstery installed in 1963 by professional custom upholsterer Floyd Quiggle. Stamped "C2307" which I believe is Quiggle's model number for the finishing. Original chair covering under the vinyl appears to be a woven black/white fabric (see photo). I do not know the date/original manufacturer of these chairs, but very sturdy welded design and brown bronze enamel finish (finish has scratches and some light rust and paint wear typical for age).One chair seat has a structural repair to the plywood frame, which is secure (see photo). Chairs measure 33 1/2" tall x 18 1/2" deep x 17" wide.Seats measure 17 1/2" wide x 16" deep. Seat height is about 16"Seat backs are 19" tall x 16" wide at bottom, tapering to 12 1/2" wide at the top.
