Description: Vintage NeXT Computer N4000A MegaPixel Display Monitor For sale- a Vintage NeXT Computer N4000A MegaPixel Display Monitor Part Number 1403. As you can see it works, sorta. PLEASE READ FURTHER. I hooked this up to one of the N1100 slab computers and was able to power it up with a keyboard attached. But then it wouldn’t turn the computer off, which I thought was odd. I had another monitor to test so I subbed that one in and it would turn the same computer on and off. And when I compared what was on the screen between the two, the one I am offering here appears to “hang” after the 5th line while with the other monitor attached the display shows the computer going into extended self tests as shown in the last picture. To REPEAT, the last picture is for comparison purposes ONLY and is not the monitor being offered here. Accordingly the monitor is sold for parts or repair only. I have no idea why it hangs up, and it may be just a bad interaction with the one computer. So maybe you get it and it works just fine. Maybe not. Either way it’s yours to keep, I will NOT accept a return. All items are sold as is with no warranty offered unless one is specifically stated. Any testing done will be explicitly stated in the listing and any accessory items will also be mentioned or pictured. If it isn’t pictured or mentioned you can assume it is not part of the sale.
