IT WORKS GREAT - SMALL FRONT ROUND INDICATOR LIGHTS UP WHEN COFFEE IS READY TO POUR. TESTED AND WORKS PERFECTLY. MADE FROM GLOSSY CHROME FINISHED STAINLESS STEEL. THIS COMES COMPLETE WITH A BREWING BASKET, LID, ROD AND CORD WITH NO DAMAGE. THIS IS CLASSIC MID CENTURY MODERN AND IT HAS A GLOSSY CHROME EXTERIOR WITH VERY FEW SIGNS OF USE. THE COMPANY IS NOW MAKING MODERN COPIES OF THIS SAME POT AND SELLING THEM FOR OVER TWICE MY ASKING PRICE AND CAN GUARANTEE THE QUALITY IS NOT AS GOOD AS THIS CLASSIC VINTAGE PERCOLATOR. INSIDE ON THE BACK HANDLE SECTION THERE ARE FILL INDICATORS FOR CUPS FROM 4 TO 12 BLACK BAKELITE HANDLE, TOP FINIAL AND BASE ARE PERFECT. 12.5" TALL, 9" SPOUT TO HANDLE AND 5" WIDE. AFTER BEING METICULOUSLY CLEANED TOP TO BOTTOM, IT'S NOW VERY CLEAN - INSIDE AND OUT. YOU MIGHT WANT TO FINE TUNE A FEW INTERIOR AND SLIGHT EXTERIOR AREAS BUT AFTER WORKING ON THIS FOR OVER AN HOUR- I WOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM USING IT TO BREW A LARGE POT OF JAVA AS IT IT CLEANER THAN IT HAS BEEN IN DECADES. I plugged this in and tested it and it heated up very quickly and the indicator light came on when brew was ready to enjoy as well for an added bonus! I charge a handling fee of $1.00 for extra packing materials or time on fragile items. I take great care in packaging items for shipping but cannot be responsible for damage or loss during transport. If you want postal insurance- please let me know at end of auction and I will send a revised invoice through paypal with the postal fee included. I recommend insurance but leave option up to the buyer. If you choose to not insure your item, do not write me expecting a refund of any kind if it is damaged by the postal service. NO EXCEPTIONS so consider the insurance option carefully. International buyers add $5.00 plus actual shipping costs for handling and paperwork required. I try to always offer the cheapest form of international shipping on auction site but will ship according to winner requests at end of auction with invoice adjustments made to cover the increased fees for faster shipping options at postal rates.
