Vintage Rio Hondo set of two small ceramic ducks

Description: Please note: These ducks will be sold only as a pair and will not be sold separately. This is an original pair of small ceramic ducks manufactured by Rio Hondo in southern California, which operated in the 1940s and 1950s. The smaller duck measures approximately 2 1/4" high and 1 1/4" in diameter at the base, and the larger duck measures approximately 2 3/4" high and 1 3/8" in diameter. The coin is shown for size comparison and is not included with the purchase. As you'll see in my photos, the ducks have no discernible flaws except an old 15-cent price written with an ink pen on the bottom of the smaller duck. Minuscule imperfections inherent to the manufacturing process are present, such as tiny rough patches where the glaze missed the ceramic, along with a few tiny particles trapped under the glaze.
