Description: Today I have up for consideration a Vintage Royal Crown China Sugar Bowl. This piece is 4-1/2" Tall with Lid and 4-3/4" in Diameter. This piece has a White Background with Blue/White, Pink/White and Yellow Flowers with Green Leaves on the Boarder. This piece is Trimmed in Platinum. The History of the Fine China Company Backstamps that use the terms "Fine China Japan" together with rather general words like "Delux" are not Brand name China companies; they are "Secondary" companies. Secondary Backstamps are those used for the purpose of exporting, marketing & retail distribution rather than for the purpose of identifying a maker. The maker in these cases did not want to be identified either because there was no kudos in their own name (too small & unheard of) or they were too recognizable (Noritake).
