Description: This is a rare vintage mantel shelf clock manufactured by Seth Thomas. It has a Seth Thomas movement, patented Dec. 28, 1875. It has the original painted dial labeled S.T. and the original pendulum bob marked Eclipse. The stenciling on the glass is in great condition. There is a latch on the left to secure the door. Checked the movement and it is in good condition. Clock case is in very good condition. Tested the clock and it is keeping time but will probably need to be cleaned sometime in the future. This clock has a nice appearance and would be a very nice addition to any collection. The key for the clock is included. The alarm takes a #4 key which is not included. Buyer may need to adjust the clock (faster/slower) once it is in its final display location. The location should be flat and the clock level. PLEASE NOTE: Although this clock is working well, it is an antique and can possibly develop problems at any time.
