These accessories were made available by Shure for microphones that did not have an on-off switch, or for users that wanted to use a microphone for two-way communications. They will interface to many different models of mics that employ 3 pin Amphenol connectors, and function by pushing the momentary black push-to talk bar, with also the ability to be locked "ON" with a set screw located just below the bar. The threaded brass locking bolt is included to secure the adapter to the mic, and the adapter can be threaded onto a mic stand.
