Description: SV oval shape Milk Glass Dish I would say this is a hard to find item here in states. This was purchased from France. The top and base shade does not quite match but most milk glass collectors are aware this happens quite often with antique french glass. Possible marriage. Condition is good. There are heat lines and a few small chips, please see photos. If you want mint this is not the piece for you but it does display nicely.I have had it for many years and enjoyed it...time to let go. Can see details in Frank's book if you have one. it has SV on top piece and FRANCE stamped on bottom, so it is possible that it could be a marriage, still a nice piece if you don't have one. price is well below mine.
