Description: Vintage Wood Hookah (INDIA) 1940’s. My father was a US Army communications Sergeant stationed in India during WWII. This hookah was brought back to the States when his deployment ended in 1945 or ‘46 so it’s at least that old. The wood looks to be mahogany The Hookah is 10 1/4” inches high and the stem is approximately 6.5” inches long. Condition overall is excellent with a couple of small chips on the upper wooden ring of bowl that can be seen in the photos. After much research, I could not determine the maker. It appears that it was made on a lathe and hand painted. The bowl appears to be brass but I cannot confirm that. This a beautiful antique Hookah that would be an amazing addition to your collection. Thanks for your interest.
