Description: Vintage WOODS IVORY WARE Apple Green Circular Pattern Lidded Tureen, England Click images to enlarge Description VINTAGE LIDDED TUREEN Lovely vintage 1950s-1960s porcelain lidded tureen measuring about 10-1/2" between the molded handle edges, 9-1/2" wide and about 5" tall. Featuring a lovely tureen shape with scalloped edge, matching lid has a molded loop finial. Decorated in the Green Circular pattern by WOODS IVORY WARE, ENGLAND, color is that popular yummy apple green - thin at one time there was a faint black or grey decorative band between the two green lines on the lid - this has faded almost completely leaving only the green on cream color. Condition is very nice with minor usage fine utensil marks on the inside bowl, a tiny rust colored dot on one edge and a bit of old wear around the inside flange of the lid - does not show and none of this detracts.
