Description: Vintage 1960s Christmas Santa Store Display Poster Eureka Princess Vacuum Advertising #2 Not sure what to give for Christmas? Santa knows. Give the gift at the top of everyone's list, a Eureka Princess vacuum for the bargain price of $39.95. This rare, hard to find vintage paper poster promoted a special Christmas holiday price for a now obsolete vacuum. More than likely it was meant to be a store display piece or a window sign. This item was discovered rolled up with pages from the Chicago Tribune newspaper, which dates to January 14, 1967. The newspaper will be included with the sale of the poster. The depiction of Santa is similar to work created by Haddon Sundblom between 1931-1965 for a famous soda pop company. He is shown in his red velvet suit trimmed in white fluff with a matching cap. His boots and belt are glossy black, the buckle and buttons shiny gold. Of course Santa has a twinkle in his eye, his cheeks are like roses, and the beard on his chin is as white as the snow. The poster is in fair to good pre-owned vintage condition with no major rips, tears or repairs. There are signs of wear from age, use and storage, which includes but is not limited to crush/crease marks, lines and wrinkles from being rolled up, yellowing of the paper and jaggedness along the outer edges of the paper. The newspaper is yellowed and shows wear from age and storage. Please see my pictures, they are part of the description.
