Description: VTG EDWARDIAN Early 1900's Embrodered Cotton Lawn 43" x 5 YDS Antique Victorian Edwardian Early 20th century( 1900-1920) Very-Fine, Sheer Cotton Lawn . Beautiful padded satin stitch stylized floral embroidery. This type of lawn was used for "Tea Gowns", Graduation, Wedding Dresses, Blouses etc. 43" Wide (selvedge to selvedge). It measures 5yds long. Considering the age of this fabric it is in very good condition. There are a few flaws: -Small tear along the upper edge. Very near the end. Would probably disappear during construction of the waist. -Very small hole along the lower edge under the embroidery which would probably disappear into the hemline. -There is also a small area of broken threads approx. 54" in from the edge and approx. 8" down. (see pic) -I noticed a few small repairs in the embroidery There are no stains and I pressed the fabric as I was inspecting it. IMPORTANT INFO FOR COMBINED SHIPPING I am happy to combine shipping.
