VTG Fireplace Faux Log Insert Lighted Electric Motion Flame Works But NEEDS TLC

Description: Faux Glowing Fireplace Insert with Red Light and Motion for Realistic Flickering Embers Real Wood Measures 20" wide x 9.75"tall x 8" deep Vintage used condition. It is partially working. The light turns on and the cord switch works well. The turning mechanism is also working but the rod that it spins on comes loose sometimes and then this stops the spin. It looks like someone attempted a repair with tape at one point, but I bet that it would hold much better either with some glue or a quick soldering. I have not attempted any repairs.
