Description: Vintage LEEDY Regulation Bugle with Yellow Tassel Cord Not sure of the age of this bugle, LEEDY manufactured these from approximately 1890-1930 so it’s most likely over 100 years old. It has obvious dents and dings and signs of age, but overall looks great for its age. Not sure if it plays or not, the mouthpiece can be removed. From my research the yellow tassel represents the Calvary and this could be from WW1. The yellow tassel cord seems very old as well. This is a great piece for any collection and would look great mounted on the wall. Length 16-17 in., Bell diameter 4 ½ in. This is the M1892 field trumpet (bugle), on which all modern bugles are based. This one is marked “Regulation” along with the manufacturer's name.
