This set is new however it was in storage and the storage unit had some weather damage so the box is not fit to pass on. I rinsed these dishes with warm soapy water. They were originally purchased in Texas from Walmart in the 70's. My home is a pet friendly home ( cats and a dog) although I try to lint brush and get any animal fur off I’m sure I miss some so if your allergic or just don’t like pet hair please don’t purchase. I also burn ytimes for anything that I missed however I am human .. and far from perfect, I strive to make all my customers happy if a problem arises please contact me!
